Each FOB contains a unique 24 character code.

The first generation security system were introduced for MY 2007.

Type 1

FOB it must be near the motorcycle (1,5-6 m) in order to detect.

This FOB type applies to the following:
• HFSM Bikes 2007-2017
• BCM Bikes 2015 and prior
• BCM Non-CVOs 2016

Type 2

When assigning the FOB must be within 1m of the motorcycle. CVO Touring models are equipped with two push buttons. The buttons lock the saddle bags.

MY16 (and later) Touring CVO

Type 3

When assigning the FOB must be within 1m of the motorcycle. Softail CVO FOBs have not buttons.

MY16 (and later) Softail CVO

Type 4

This Fob is used with MY17 Street Models when equipped with Security Control Module. The FOBs for SCM system are unique.

Type 5

This FOBs are used with MY17 non-CVO bikes equipped with a BCM. When assigning this FOB type, the FOB must be within 1m of the motorcycle.
